| About Horsin’ Around Band |

Hi everybody. Thanks for visiting the Horsin' Around Band MySpace page. We are a Midwestern country band that has been together in one form or another since 1992. We have shared the stage with several big time artists such as, Lonestar, Tracy Lawrence, Trace Adkins, Blake Shelton, Sawyer Brown, The Bellamy Brothers, Colin Raye and David Allen Coe. We are sponsored by the 1 radio station in the Tri-states, 103.3 WJOD, and have been named the Best Live Band In The Tri-states 7 years in a row.
Our members have changed a bit over the years but todays line-up is the best. All good friends and good players. Me, Jeff Peil (bass and vocals), has been with the band since the beginning and I am the last original member. Gary Peterson drums and vocals) has been in the band since 2001. Rich Winger (steel guitar, acoustic guitar and vocals) joined us in early 2002 for our first major concert, Tracy Lawrence. Kerry Erickson (guitar and vocals) has been here since 2004. Trina Murray has been our lead singer since 2007. Molly Melloy joined us this year as a 2nd vocalist. John Thurston our soundman/lightman/road manager/equipment tech has been with us since 2001.
With 6 vocalists, the sky is the limit for what we can play. We do songs from Carrie Underwood and The Wreckers to Johnny Cash and Hank Williams Jr. Along with lots of George Strait and Sugarland the repertoire is wide ranging.
Trina has recently been added to give Lisa some time off to be with her son and they will be switching off week to week. Each singing on separate nights. It is going to be great. They both have awesome voices. The future is looking great for the band so stop out and check us out sometime.
