About me: Comics, Comics, Comics! An Edwardsville hometown boy returns after 20+ years to follow his dream of opening up a decent comic book store and share his passion for sequential art/graphic storytelling(comic books) with the next generation. Growing up in the 60's, 70's and 80's, this boy also gravitated towards the sci-fi/fantasy/role-playing fun of that has turned into a nostalgic, pop-culture lifestyle.
With the help of his beautiful wife and darling kids Hometown Comics & Games (otherwise known as Hometown Comics LLC) opened January 2007.
Hometown Comics is located at 110 E. Vandalia St. in Edwardsville, IL approximately 30 minutes from St. Louis Missouri.

HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY animated prequel!
Who I'd like to meet: My heroes that are still living
Hi guys, how're you? I'm dropping you a line to invite you to check out Geek-Girl: FANBABES’ entry in Small Press Idol ’08!
When 'Little Miss Popular' Ruby Kaye lands a pair of super-tech glasses in a game of Strip Poker, she's granted flight, super-strength, and--due to a flaw in the glasses' programming--super-klutziness!
Congrats to Jayson! The chorus suddenly popped in my head. Yes, I was a child of the 70's & 80's. Here's the video that played on MTV back when MTV was about the music:
I just finished "Brothers in Arms" #1. OUTSTANDING!! Please add it to my current list of comics you're holding for me. I'm a big fan of anything WWII based and this comic couldn't be better. The troops in the story are based out of St. Louis (ironic) and the writing, ink, and story are fantastic! Thanks for getting issue one for me. I'm looking forward to the rest.
p.s. I checked and I do have issue #2 of "Lock and Key". Thanks for checking!
