About me:
Comics, Comics, Comics! An Edwardsville hometown boy returns after 20+ years to follow his dream of opening up a decent comic book store and share his passion for sequential art/graphic storytelling(comic books) with the next generation. Growing up in the 60's, 70's and 80's, this boy also gravitated towards the sci-fi/fantasy/role-playing fun of that has turned into a nostalgic, pop-culture lifestyle. With the help of his beautiful wife and darling kids Hometown Comics & Games (otherwise known as Hometown Comics LLC) opened January 2007. Hometown Comics is located at 110 E. Vandalia St. in Edwardsville, IL approximately 30 minutes from St. Louis Missouri. Hometown Comics is open Monday through Saturday, Opening by noon and closing at 7pm at the earliest. May stay open later for gamers and late shoppers. If you need something outside regular hours feel free to call the store. The Phone # is: 618-655-0707 HELLBOY II: THE GOLDEN ARMY animated prequel!

When 'Little Miss Popular' Ruby Kaye lands a pair of super-tech glasses in a game of Strip Poker, she's granted flight, super-strength, and--due to a flaw in the glasses' programming--super-klutziness!

Drawing reduces stress only if everything flows nicely. Artists block is nothing but stress! I'm not complaining though! I love my job.

Doug,

I just finished "Brothers in Arms" #1. OUTSTANDING!! Please add it to my current list of comics you're holding for me. I'm a big fan of anything WWII based and this comic couldn't be better. The troops in the story are based out of St. Louis (ironic) and the writing, ink, and story are fantastic! Thanks for getting issue one for me. I'm looking forward to the rest.

p.s. I checked and I do have issue #2 of "Lock and Key".
Thanks for checking!
