HEY PETER, WISHING YOU A HAPPY EARLY BIRTHAY! I POSTED A PICTURE OF US... I HOPE WE CAN PLAY TOGETHER AGAIN... ALSO PUT UP SOME NEW TUNES... CHECK EM OUT! PEACE, ELLEN LERNER
just saw peter in nyc. he talked about playing at a park after the show, i waited about 20 minutes, but he never came out. did he eventually come out and play? thanks! it was a great show in an awesome venue.
AMAZING show!!... 2 1/2 hours of Peter with Dan K. Man on piano and accordian. Short 30 minute set by e.joseph got the show off to a great start. Lots of stories, typical audience interaction, new songs(which are very good), old songs, and Peter's injured shoulder. Since it was a $20 show he said he would only mention it once but as he reached for his ice tea he winced in pain and it got a few more mentions. I don't have a complete song list with me but some tracks off the top my head in no particular order include: Waning Moon, Mission of My Soul, Always in Disguise, The Pigeons Couldn't Sleep and The Ship of Last Hope(the last 2 are new) He ended the show after about 2 hours, told the crowd they could go home, but the crowd remained and he "practiced" for another 30 minutes. Catch this tour if you can!!
I Played with Peter years ago at a show in Philadelphia and it was one of my most favorite shows! I have been a huge fan ever since!!
Peace,
Ellen

The first time I ever heard P.H. I was in Hebrew school and we were researching anti-semitism. My teacher played the song, "Untitled" and as soon as I realized what was goin' on my stomach was in knots. I felt so overwhelmed by the story and the music. And once he hit the bridge and the tempo picked up, I was fascinated with the story. I'm not a real emotional guy, but I swear that after the song was over I had tears in my eyes. I'm really glad I heard what I heard. It made me feel proud to be a Jew! Thanks Peter, You're the man!
I go WAY back with Peter -- I went to junior
and senior high school with him. His band
used to play for our junior high dances!
I even got to play keys with him in the
musical "Free To Be ... You And Me".
It was a truly memorable experience.
