I moved to Portland, OR from Anchorage, AK with my family (Shannon- my wife, and Ollie- our dog). I play various instruments. I like to write/record songs.
I also like kick around a skateboard. I mainly ride in pools. I still snowboard, but it is too damn expensive for a lift ticket here, and there are too many skatespots that I haven’t visited yet. Do not wax the red curbs, and remember to go bigger and faster.
So I walk into my bar last night and this dude hollars out, "Hey, Martyr's Union!" I was shocked. We remain legends. Immortals. Hall of Famers. Gods of the Northern Pantheon. Heroes among men. Saints of the ages. Glorius princes of might. Ducks.
Unfortunately life got so flippin busy when I was down there that there was no Heath and Shannon time left. Makes me sad. Too much time spent with boring family, but it was a sentence I was doomed to do without parole.
