Los Angeles, CA – Acoustic artist Heart Pharmacy has announced the new single “Sammy” from the forthcoming “Natural Selection” CD, due out in the summer of 2008. The band’s music is marked by rock-type energy but the emotional touch of singer-songwriter and is touched by sweet harmonies, affecting guitar work and succulent rhythms.
The sounds on tap in the new single promise big things for the album. “Sammy” is filled with heart-touching melodies, emotive sincerity, bright harmonies and big hooks. Heart Pharmacy founds its beginnings in the time after Ali found himself bandless following the breakup of IPX. His decision to go solo led him to the current project. Since then, Ali has stayed true to his principles and the result has been consistently solid songwriting and tunes that all boast shining production values.
