Somone broke into your living room and made a mess!
Headcount formed in 1999 in deepest darkest rural Oxfordshire. A fearsome three piece playing a punk/metal hybrid at an incredible volume and with the pace to match. The live experience demands audience participation with the audience invited to join in and entertain us!
The first album "It's a business doing pleasure with you" was released in 2002 on Mettle Tester records and got a KKKK review in Kerrang and featured fabled Antperson Mr Marco Pirroni on guitar on four tracks.
2004 saw Headcount hook up with Malicious Damage records to bring you Die Monkey Die, produced by Martin Radcliffe and Paul Raven from Killing Joke, it features 12 full on punk rock monsters. Radio 1 airplay, interviews with Bruce Dickinson on Radio 6 and radio play in the States and Sweden. The momentum continues to build and we continue to have fun!
We're recording at the momemt for album number three, at the moment we're calling it "To The Point!" and it's shaping up well. Have a listen to BLEED. We've also recorded a new version of RED MIST as people are always telling us that it should have been a single (it kind of was.........) which features extra guitar from Adam Moss, the start of the second generation of noise makers.
Come and see us at one of the forthcoming gigs!
