Everything is just rosy for Harry Hamlin and wife Lisa Rinna after their opening night performance in the Broadway musical CHICAGO on Tuesday. The former Dancing With the Stars contestants will continue their Broadway run until July 29.

Hi Everyone- Big news this week!! Not sure if you've heard but I'm going on the road again- this time as Roxie in the musical CHICAGO! I'm so excited about it. I be joining the National Tour of CHICAGO with stops in Portland, Oregon at Keller Auditorium, May 29th through June 3rd and at the Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, June 5th through June 17th. Right now I'm a 54 year old guy pretending to be 24 as I try every day to learn how to dance. Today is Saturday, September 9, 2006....two days before a bunch of us go in front of the world on ABC to do something most of us have never done before! How crazy is that??? I've been rehearsing the Cha, Cha, Cha with Ashly Delgrosso, bless her heart for her seemingly limitless patience with the old man, and a couple of days ago I actually felt like I was really cooking. Then I cought a glimpse of myself in the mirror at the dance studio and a profound sense of dread set in. Since then, I haven't stopped trying to fix what I saw in the blasted mirror. Anyway, as for my particulars...I'm an actor, lots of stage...Equus, the boy; Hamlet, the prince; Henry V, the king..among others but those are the ones I really liked.....Movies, Clash of the Titans, Perseus; Making Love, Bart; Movie Movie, Joey Popchick....among many others but those are the ones I talk about....TV, mainly LA Law but recently Veronica Mars which I love but which is on at the same time as Dancing with the Stars so I won't talk about it! I've never done any dancing for money, though after this, depending on how I do, you might see me downtown on Main St. doing my Cha, Cha routine for quarters! My mom insisted that I go to dancing school when I was around nine....all I remember is that I got yanked off the flag football field, thrown into a tiny suit and had to endure the putrid breath of nine year old girls for one hour a month. I learned no dance steps and vowed never again to try a boxstep! I'm breaking that vow after more than forty years. Also, as far as particulars go, my wife, Lisa, and I own a cool clothing store called belle gray...the middle names of our two girls, Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray. Actually we have two stores, one in Sherman Oaks, Ca. and one in Calabasas, Ca and we also have a rockin' website...www.bellegray.com....check it out. Of course, I want to direct....of course! I have a project that is in pre production and I'm in the process of casting and raising funds...any one with a few million dollars burning a hole in their pocket...I accept cashiers checks and money orders only! Also. I'm a news and political junkie...I don't know why 'cause no matter how much news I watch or how loud I scream at the insanity going on around us, it just keeps getting crazier! I'm an environmentalist...that's a big word...I'm for helping the planet...I'm for doing what we can about global warming and climate change as well as finding alternative sources of energy...that last one is a particular favorite of mine for reasons that will become clear in time. For now I'm a dancing fool and proud of it. We'll see how I feel in a few weeks!!
