"It's so rave it hurts, and so slinky it will make you want to make beautiful love to the speakers - which is the kind of split personality we've always wanted in the label... Raves from Crookers, Garnier, Fil OK, Tomboy, Justin Robertson, Luke Solomon, Rodamaal, Philip Sherburne ... and even Zdar from Cassius, which made us breakdance round the office. Out on vinyl in not very long from now..."

HANNAH HOLLAND BIOG:
East London’s notorious DJ/producer, Trailer Trash resident and self-confessed ‘bass junkie’ Hannah Holland has gone Global. The list includes Fabric, TDK, Space & Manumission in Ibiza, Field Day Festival in London, Le Rex & Le Social in Paris and Exit festival in Serbia, to name a few. She continues to tear it up across the capital, while taking her signature dirty, bass heavy, jackin electro, tech house, breaks sound to new dancefloors, having joined the ranks of Decked Out, home to Switch, Carl Craig and Erol Alkan.
Hannah is currently working on a defining her sound in the studio, with releases coming out in the second half of 08 on Mike Monday’s Playtime label and remixes for VV Brown, Spektrum and CR2. Plus the BATTY BASS website and record label will be taking the Batty Bass gospel to the masses, due to launch later in the year. In the meantime converts are already clamoring for the Hannah Holland podcasts, released monthly, which can be downloaded on itunes.
Hannah started her “groundbreaking” residency at weekly cult electro night Trailer Trash four years ago, which went onto to become one of London’s “most respected underground night” DJ MAG.
Trailer Trash have hosted a series of infamous raves in venues such as a medieval prison, an ex transvestite brothel, a boat chugging up the Thames and disused Quick-Fit garage, as well as its weekly packed to the rafters night in the heart of Shoreditch.
Hannah is also a regular fixture at Bugged Out!, and is just as likely to be caught playing at Fabric as she is in some hidden away warehouse in the East End. She has enjoyed sharing the bill with artists such as Claude Vonstroke, Sinden, Damian Lazarus, 2Many DJs and Ivan Smagghe.
As well as many more UK and worldwide gigs, Hannah continues to work on material in the studio for releases in 2008. Plus expect more mayhem from her own Bastard Batty Bass parties and the start of her new label Batty Bass Records.
FAITH MAGAZINE AUG 08
"Hannah is one of the most exciting djs to emerge from the capital in recent years. There is something quite special about her sound, totally unique to both Hannah and the city that nutured her musical development "

REVIEW BY LONDON LITE OF GET RUDE VS BASTARD BATTY BASS @ TOGETHER , TURNMILLS
"Any thoughts of an early night were blown away when we found the Zombie Disco Squad in room two, who were leading the troops in what would prove to be the best room of the night.
Next came a stomping and uplifting set from the gifted Hannah Holland, who mixed intoxicating beats to the dirtiest of basslines.
Continuing the girl power behind the decks, the all-female trio Bastard Batty Bass took over next - and even the bouncer guarding the emergency exit couldn't stand still."
"The first lady of mashup, the sound that she helped create through her ground-breaking residency at Trailer Trash, makes her Chew The Fat debut tonight. With new productions due out and her new record label ‘Bastard Batty Bass’ launching this year, 2008 looks like it’ll be a belter for this excellent DJ." - Chew The Fat
“Hannah, with her signature style of domineering, demanding your ass on the dancefloor dirty electro, takes over and absolutely packs the main room”
-One Week To Live
“Holland flips the nu-rave sound that’s just beginning to emerge and some very filthy booty bass tuneage. Together, they lay down a heady concoction of dance music’s finest sounds”
-Mixmag
“Hannah Holland, one of London’s leftfield “IT” DJ’s.”
