Our bigger influences would be Sugarland, Patty Griffin, Kelly Clarkson, Reba, and Miranda Lambert. These people are aMAZing and we try to take the things we like from everywhere, and mush them altogether into our music. We also try to keep it original, down the core of good music with Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Lorretta Lynn, The Carter Family and so on. Hopefully it's a good mix ;)

Hey everyone, welcome to the site of Grounded Granite! Kristin and Kaitlyn would like to thank you for visiting! Grounded Granite consist of Kristin and Kaitlyn Short and drummer, Jason Grimm. Kristin is 22 years old. Kaitlyn is 16, and Jason is 25. They are considered the newer style county, with the character of the older country. They love to be acoustic, but also love to rock it out. idk really.. They may not do another season but I'm not to worried about anything right now I've got a couple years left I'm working on my voice and some new material and hoping to move to Nashville as soon as I'm done with high school but thats a couple of years away...
