About me:
Greg Skidmore is a Seattle DJ whose earliest electronic music influences include Aphex Twin, Luke Vibert, Richie Hawtin, and most notably, Anthony Rother. His musical palette is deep and his style is focused on precision mixing with key elements of electro, IDM, and breaks. Not everything played is designed for the dance-floor, as glitchy downtempo or moody experimental hip-hop beats are exposed as well.
Skidmore's sets can be sometimes dark and menacing, and other times gentle and optimistic. Challenging the sonic sensibilities of his audience is a goal that is wholeheartedly sought. The styles stresses music that will push the bass bins and rearrange the anatomy and hopefully bring emotion to the mind of the listener.
