Influences
Surprise Party is a smartly written, dynamically performed outpouring of memorable characters and hilarious on-stage interplay (that sounds fancy!). It is directed by AJ Morales (Hammerkatz, Best Boy Improv, video game developer/nerd/hero).
About me: Greg Burke (Late Night w/ Conan O'Brien) & Lou Perez (MTVU) are a sketch/improv comedy duo who think their unnecessarily long name is hilarious. Thier character driven sketch show, Surprise Party, is currently running at the UCB Theatre and it is awesome.
They are members of the award winning sketch comedy troupe The Wicked Wicked Hammerkatz (Winner, Best Sketch Group, Emerging Comics of New York Awards, 2005).

Greg and Lou recently co-starred in the ensemble short film Checkout, directed by Dan Eckman. Since winning the award for Best College Short at the 2006 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival (Aspen) it has continued to pick up festival accolades all across the universe. So Im drivin the other day and I need to make a left...This chinese guy creeps up beside me in a blue mini van in the left lane. I speed up to get in front of him, and he speeds up...I slow down to get behind him, he slows down. I need to make this left turn or be stuck in traffic for a half hour...I look over at him, he looks at me...We give eachother the stare. I wave my finger at him and say "I dont chink so buddy" slam on the gas, pull in front of him and make my turn...I don't think thats the last time I will see him. But I do know I won this battle. Who will win the war? I do not know. I wonder what he is plotting for me next...DUN DUN DUN
