About Gravy Records

started as a jazz / funk label in 2000 with Gruvphunkshun (jason stander on instumentation /production and Mp on cuts)in early 2001 the two began making production for hiphop tracks w/ Ghost Buck Tooth and DJMP on raps also free verse poetry over jazz instrumentation by Rob Simpson .by late 2001 the first gravy sampler was completed (completely done on 4 track) "5 flavors of gravy" named after the 5 contributors since then 4 other samplers have been released along with ghost full length LP "Ghost Stories" (2003) current projects include "Tuck Your Chain" Vol. 1 OUTNOW REVIEW BELOW GruvPhunkshun untitled EP Iconoclasts (MP & Stereotype) untitled full length Ugly Kids ( BuckTooth & Ghost) Creative Differences Collaborations are constantly adding up in the hiphop department with production credits from : Celph Titled (DemiGodz ,Beat Fanatic) InfinitSkills(Beat Fanatic France) Slopfunkdust (beat Fanatic, Beat Society) Negative Space Orchestra, Spon (Beat Fanatic) and more Mp is also currently working w/ Cosmic Sweat Society and Beat Fanatic's The Maestros stay tuned
