   About Grantham Road

With energetic live performances that has earned them shows with Hootie and the Blowfish, Saving Jane and the Badlees, two solid albums which have received radio air play across the nation, and constant positive feedback from the media, Grantham Road’s reputation as a professional band has come from their grassroots mind set. From down and dirty rock and roll to sparse acoustic arrangements, Grantham Road’s wear-your-heart-on-your-sleeve attitude has been winning fans for over three years. Flint Zeigler, songwriter, singer, and guitarist, for the band seems to be constantly developing the bands’ sound. His influences ranging from Neil Young and Ryan Adams to Green Day and Nirvana, has allowed the band to flow between musical genres seamlessly. Hints of blues, early country, grunge and alternative roots rock jump out of the speakers, setting the stage for Flint’s distinct voice and lyrics. “....the heart of (Grantham Road) is, unquestionably, frontman Flint Zeigler’s gravely and extremely pleasant voice....” said Origivation Magazine. NEPAtoday.com agreed, calling Zeigler’s voice infectious and Helen Liecht of WXPN in Philadelphia also praised Flint’s vocals after adding Grantham Road’s version of ‘Angels We Have Heard on High’ to the WXPN music library. Flint’s mature song writing has also earned him approval with many audiences and critics. HBGonline.com compared his song writing with greats such as The Allman Brothers and Skynyrd, saying the songs “...contain lyrical innovation that is a shade sharper than anything country has thought of in decades....”. Grantham Road’s album ‘Parade’ was number 26 on the Roots Music Report, a national radio air play chart in June 2006, ahead of names like T-Bone Burnette and Rhett Miller. ‘Angels We Have Heard on High’ was played nationwide on stations like WXPN (Philadelphia, PA). WNNK (Harrisburg, PA), WACC (Middletown, CT), WXPK (New York, NY), WBCG (Port Charlotte, FL), KNBA (Anchorage, AK), along with stations in South Carolina, Ohio, and Virginia. ‘Parade’ was produced by Jeff Feltenberger (formerly of the Badlees) and was released March 14th, 2006. Singles off of ‘Parade’ are still generating national radio air play and the album itself is receiving excellent media attention. Contact: flintzeigler@hotmail.com.
