About me:
We are located on the square in Downtown Murfreesboro, TN, in a “hard-to-find” loft space.
We are home to 3 independent businesses that all work together (like Voltron) to form a small independent record label known as Grand Palace Records.
Grand Palace Records
In the front, right at the top of the stairs, we have a nice little record store, also know as “Grand Palace Records“, we refer to it as “the store”. The store has plenty of vinyl, CD’s, DVD’s, turntables, posters and other music related goods. Open 6 days a week, closed on Mondays.
Grand Palace Recording Services
A big chunk of the GP building houses a full analog recording studio, we commonly refer to it as “the studio”.
The studio runs “evenings and weekends” recording hours and is well equipped with several tape machines and sweet microphones. by appointment only.
Grand Palace Silkscreen
In the back we operate an “old school” silkscreen printing shop. Armed with a six color press for t-shirts, a big table for posters, and some home-made equipment. It’s the busiest department of GP, and we refer to it simply, as “the shop”. (When we screen-print, we often refer to it as “scrint’n”, but that’s not a real word, not yet anyways.) On the other side of the shop, we have an office with a few computers and an air-conditioner, we call it “the office”, I know, I know, we’re weird.

good news . . . . orange twin records is putting our album out in august and we're planning a tour to support it . . . hope to make it to nashville this time . . .
