big.peaches began playing drums at age 10. He's been beating on things ever since. He loves to use traditional drums mixed with machines and found objects. He would very much like the world to chill out, have a cocktail and dance close and slow under a full moon.
since 2004, big.peaches has been drummer and percussionist for Atlanta-based gay-acoustic-indie-folk-pop*star Wayne Fishell, and together they form the wayne fishell experiment. They have performed at Pride Fests from the fantastic to the tragic (ATL, South Park, Savannah, Jacksonville Beach, FL, Myrtle Beach, SC) and in metro-ATL (Eddie's Attic, Smith's Olde Bar, Red Light Cafe, Wordsmiths Books, Twain's, Kavarna, The Stage Door, LeBuzz, IF Coffeehouse, Turner Studios for TurnOUT with HGTV's David Bromstad, Cartoon Network, Outwrite Books, PushPush Theater, Bruce Wells' Southern Exposure GLBT Music Series as well as appearances for charity at Birdi's / Decatur and The CHRIS Rainbow House Premiere Party). Their CD, optimistically hopeless was released in February 2007.
big.peaches is also currently writing, recording and mixing his first cd of electronic noise, the glamorous machine, set for release in 2008. he is also remixing tracks from wayne fishell's debut cd, going down. the songs posted above are works-in-progress. big.peaches would love to read your constructive feedback!

Hey Big.peaches, hope you can make it out for this event - The intoxicating acoustic music of South Carolina's Sean Waterman is as heady as the smell of honeysuckle on a warm summer's day.
