Patty Griffin (simple songs powerfully delivered)
Tom Russell (by far the best story teller ever)
Radiohead (a labyrinth of sounds that surrounds and entraps)
Pink Floyd (no words can describe what i love about this band)
Queen (the harmonies and orchestration is unmatched)
My Mother (she always had music on at the house and always was performing...she gave me the resources to fly)

Southern pine forests, winding rivers, and muddy bare feet are luxuries to Atlanta, GA. native Grace Buford.
Life's experiences, be they good or bad, are the fuel and passion that underpin Grace's unique style of songwriting and it shows. Her music engages the heart and mind of her audience, there is feeling and the feeling is shared. From a rhythmic acoustic song about facing negative thoughts in a battle for the mind to a flowing, ethereal keyboard that exposes the vulnerability of facing change, Grace's music and live performances are an emotional ride that will leave you spellbound and wanting more.
As with those shining lights of previous generations of folk/acoustic rock acts, Grace's influences are broad, she is open-minded, curious and not a believer in musical boundaries defined by genres Grace creates what she feels.
Of course to truly experience Grace the best way is to catch her live show, a performer that holds nothing back in terms of energy and is happiest when sharing. There's no pretense or falsehoods, no trickery or gimmicks, be it an intimate venue or a hall you are guaranteed the bare-footed energetic dynamo that is Grace Buford, a voyage of laughter, of tears and every emotion in between is shared openly with her audience and it will leave you wanting for more.
In the last couple of years Grace has also embraced new methods to share her music, broadcasting performances live via the internet form her home studio and venues. She has also created a presence in the virtual world of Second Life where she has a virtual version of herself known as Cylindrian Rutabaga, this virtual world allows new and existing fans from across the globe to experience Grace's music and she regularly performs live shows in-world.
