we'll tell you about YOUR music and how to play it here;
1 - If you want to get a show, look at our calendar and find a few dates or slots that could work for you. If there's 4 acts already on the bill, move on. Look for TBA slots. If there's less than 4 acts but no TBA, it means supporting acts are being added by one of the bands. For open dates, you can bring a supporting act or 2 w/you if you like.
2 - Contact us here, not anywhere else.
3 - Be patient. We'll make something happen.
4 - Sets are 39 minutes long or less. If you're THAT good, the throngs of your faithful will hoot and holler and I will cheerfully relent and allow an encore.
5 - ALL SHOWS ARE 21+

we have a PA system, three or 4 mics and stands, bass amp, ONE small guitar amp (at the moment), pieces of old drumkits (bass, bass-tom, floor-tom) and a few errant cymbals and such - trust your own hardware and drum throne (we have chairs)
TO ANYONE WHO ASKS ABOUT THE PIANO, LIKE IF IT'S REAL OR FUNCTIONAL; why would i drag a hundred year old, 500 pound piano up, onto a ten by ten foot stage if.........

Goodbye Blue Monday was born 24 years ago (GBM was incorporated in 1984) and yes, its name is in homage to Kurt Vonnegut's, "Breakfast of Champions or Goodbye Blue Monday." AND YES!!! --- EVERYTHING (almost, like 99.9% of everything)IS FOR SALE!!!! And what's not for sale could be rented! Just like a prophouse without the formality being called "a prophouse"
GBM is a street-level free-form livingroom-WIFI coffeehouse-gallery- performance space and IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK FROM 11:00AM TO 2:00AM and till 3:00AM ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY - COME RELAX IN OUR BACKYARD SCULPTURE GARDEN STUDIO!!
GBM is freeform music, ten-tons of vinyl, books, tchotchkes and extreme eyecandy overload; I've had to shuffle thousands of things around until it became safe to walk in and have a cup of coffee and that's when i opened (september 2005).
