This band features vocalist / guitarist Gomer Hendrix. His style is influenced by classic rock, soul, R n B, 70s bands, Frank Zappa, Weird Al Yankovic, Oingo Boingo, and many others. Although Gomer's music is humorous, it is serious as well. He can entertain crowds with a band, or with just his voice and an acoustic guitar. Gomer has appeared in San Francisco bay area clubs, on radio stations KKUP, KZSU Stanford, Radio Free Berkeley, KPFA Berkeley, and many clubs in other US cities. He has also performed in France, Germany, England, Holland, Spain, and Ireland. Electric Meatland is available on http://cdbaby.com/cd/gomer4

Gomer is one the most talented and versatile musicians I have ever seen. He kicks some musical booty, whether it be classic rock, metal, reggae, jazz, Gomer's repetoire is massive.
He's fun to watch when he performs and he keeps the crowd hot and the booties shaking for hours.
Offstage, Gomer is a sensitive, quiet man with a penchant for building homes for the poor, helping wayward girls and mentoring young rocker dudes into old rocker dudes.
