SOBRE A INVASÃO SUDAMÉRICA DE MONOBANDAS Vol. I

Depois do sucesso da Invasão One Man Band (jan./2008) com os explosivos italianos Mr. Ochio e Number 77 - a ABM (Associação Brasileira de Monobandas) organizou a INVASÃO MONOBANDA SUDAMÉRICA VOL.1 para julho próximo, que além de diversos artistas nacionais, trará nesta edição os dois primeiros monobandas da Argentina: TRASH COLAPSO e CONGO SHOCK

A Associação Brasileira de Monobandas foi criada em 2007 para incentivar, apoiar e divulgar este singular formato de expressão musical. O termo monobanda é um neologismo do inglês ‘one man band’, que significa ‘banda de um homem só’. Talvez cansados de seus companheiros de bandas, ou ainda anti-sociais demais para fazerem amigos, estes músicos, munidos de suas guitarras e canções, mais algumas poucas peças de percussão sobem nos palcos e dão um show, literalmente. Para quem quiser saber mais sobre o tema, a ABM possui o ‘manual para montar uma monobanda’ – disponível em http://www.myspace.com/monobandas
