"DUDE! were not plotting a trajectory to the moon! Find the street we are ON. Check? Find the name of the street we just PASSED. Check? Trace up and down on the map of street we are ON till you find the street we just PASSED - thats where we are!""
Paranormal investigation of course!, SCUBA diving, the Florida Keys (my home one day I hope!), videography, my family, traveling, swimming, camping, boating, snow boarding
Music
I believe you can learn a lot about someone by their taste (or lack there-of)
in music. These are some of my favorite tunes - hope you enjoy them!
Movies
Too many to name! But a few I really like are Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Back To The Future, Jaws, The Deep, Jacobs Ladder, Angel Heart... and others (having a brain fart right now)
HORROR FILMS - love 'em! But I'm most freaked out by films that scare you with susupense vs. gore. Alfred Hitchcock was a genius in that genre! John Carpenters stuff is great too.
Television
I don't watch much TV... but when its on, its mostly documentary stuff on Discovery, TLC, History Channel, Animal Planet, etc.
Books
Being a geek, I read a lot of non-fiction, boring technical stuff. But I like keeping up on current events and visit USAToday.com and CNN.com several times a day
Heroes
Daryl Hall and John Oates, Dennis Tito, Hans Holzer, Jimmy Carter, anyone who takes a stand for what they believe in. Anyone who makes it on their own without paving the road to success with the bodies of friends and loved ones.
PARANORMAL INVESTIGATOR AND STAR OF TRU TV'S "HAUNTING EVIDENCE"
I'm probably best known as the paranormal investigator on TRU TV's (formerly Court TV) hit series "Haunting Evidence", but I was no stranger to the media prior; having been featured on CNN and an Emmy award winning documentary for TBS, among numerous other appearances.
Founder and director of Ghost Hounds and the GhoStock paranormal enthusiasts convention, paranormal subjects have been a life-long fascination of mine. I founded Ghost Hounds in 2001 and the group has quickly grown to be one of the most visited paranormal research sites on the web.
I'm a veteran both in front of and behind the camera lens. A videographer in my own right, my "one man band" self-produced video production entitled "Haunted" has won me acclaim from my peers in the paranormal field and a nomination from Ghost Convention International for "best documentary" in 2005.
In May of 2007, I embarked on yet another ambitious path; this time as a professional photographer. Samples of my works in infrared photography can be seen at my website http://patrick-burns.com
My hobbies (other than paranormal investigation) include scuba diving and camping.
