My favourite pastimes are reading & writing; my blog has been pretty much on top of my writing priorities for more than a year.
Actually, I love all aspects of blogging, including giving its look a facelift once in a while. Which is another of my hobbies: web design.
Last but not least, I love listening to music during all of the above activities!
Music
My musical taste is very varied. Most of it, however, has survived from my younger years, and is classified as alternative and classic rock. But I'm very flexible: at the right times, I love Ozzy just as much as Tschaikowsky and Vivaldi! Certain music for certain moods!

And if people are too wimpy to deal with your attitutde, then too bad. So sad.
I am German but have become almost a Gozitan in the course of two decades, since I moved to the tiny Maltese sister
island Gozo, in 1984. For many of those years I worked in tourism like so many others in this country. Then, two years ago, I swapped my unsatisfying job for something I really like doing. Some people would call it
self-fulfilment - others insanity... Midlife crisis? What midlife crisis?!
I published a novel, Angelina's Ghost, and became a contributor to the Malta Independent's First Magazine.
Most recently, I wrote a guidebook in German titled "Leben und Arbeiten in Malta" (Living and Working in Malta), which was just published a couple of days ago. This has been my first publishing contract - and even if that sounds a bit like blowing my own trumpet, I'm rather proud of this achievement.
This experience also taught me that writing non-fiction is by no means easier - or worth less - than producing a novel!!
Because of my love for writing I'm also a blog addict. I manage to blog almost daily - and when I miss a day I actually feel bad about it!
The written word is my first passion, has always been. A couple of years ago, however, I discovered another creative
kind of work that I really took to whole-heartedly: web design. If you need a website, contact me. I'll be happy in
more than one way to do it. I just love the process of creating designs and playing with them till they're just
right. I find this kind of work extremely satisfying. Obviously I also need to earn money - though I can safely say that my work is cheaper than others', and you'll be surprised how quickly your site is up and running!
