Georg Hekt - born 1981 in Stara Zagora (Bulgaria), since 2003 living in Berlin (Germany). Involved in various music projects and peace activism.

His love for music began in the early age of 9. He got his first drums with 13 and after that he played with a few bands in his hometown Stara Zagora. He learned some guitar and some piano and was always interested in experimenting with styles and sounds. A few years later he met Oppidan and together they started one of the first electronic music projects in the city and since 2003 they own and develop one of the most famous net-labels in Bulgaria - stigae music.

Nowdays stigae music is a home for a few artists from a few different countries. Georg always liked to collaborate with different people who have other musical backgrounds. His releases through stigae music present his works with musicians from the whole globe and the his cd-releases went to every corner of the world. By now he is composing with very interesting artists from Japan and Germany, and of course with Oppidan.
