Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, this microphone commando infuses his love for such artists' like; Tupac Shakur, the Notorious B.I.G., Eminem, Nickel Back, Linkin Park, Korey Bowie and Jason Mraz. The stance he has taken on creating music that lack the use of cursing immediately sets him atop a culture which for years has been the target of mass scrutiny for its degradation to both men and women alike.

Finding an interest in poetry at the age of 9 and then an interest in rap at the age of 14 began the General's journey to musical excellence. Growing up in a home that was never quiet due to the music played by his mother and father, General Heat learned early how important music is to life.

"My parents could be arguing non stopped, but when the music came on it completely changed the atmosphere. That's what I want to do. I want to make music that changes things, atmospheres, and people."
