Below is a shocking video of the mistreatment of animals in laboratories. There are no death scenes and no blood...but what is so shocking is that it's still happening...worse than this! Meet darling and adorable "Britches"...he is not only the cutest thing you'll ever see...but was rescued!!

This is a child dying from hunger, desperately trying to make it to a United Nations Food Camp one mile away. From the first day I saw this photo, my heart has had a permanent hole. I think it must be the most heartbreaking thing I have ever seen. No wonder the photographer commited suicide. When you start to complain about your life, please think of this photo and know, that it could be so much worse. At least you don't "literally" have a vulcher waiting to eat you.

FURocious Music and the Animal Miracle Foundation are proud to present the FURocious Music Tour for National Dog Day 2008 . The focus of the concert, aside from honoring and celebrating the many new faces of music, is to create public awareness of the plight of domestic and wild animals around the globe and find homes for the homeless animals across the U.S. and beyond. From the veal market, to horse slaughter...from the China Fur Trade to puppy and kitten mills....this will be the biggest animal awareness and lifesaving concert ever!! The Animal Miracle Foundation was founded by Colleen Paige and is home to National Dog Day (August 26th, National Cat Day (October 29th), National Puppy Day (March 23rd), National Mutt Day(December 2nd), National Horse Protection Day (March 1st), National Wildlife Day (September 4th)....among others.
