Welcome to our circle of friends!!! Welcome to the home of Full Moon Circle.
We hail from Richmond, Louisa, and Palmyra Virginia. We belong to you and we play for you. A self-managed and all original band, Full Moon Circle has one purpose...to rock you. Comprised of lead singer and guitar player Justin Collins, drummer Clanton May, and bass player Bob DiGregory, this trio has been bringing their sound to the people since the Spring of 2000. Full Moon Circle are back in the studio recording more of the rock that their loyal fans have come to expect from them.
Who can you liken their sound to? Well, they think theyve stumbled upon a chemistry all their own but theyll be the first to credit such talented bands as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Kings X, Godsmack, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, and countless others for influencing them and their love for music that rocks.
Whether youre head banging to one of their hard-hitting rock jams or swaying to one of their melodic, thought-provoking ballads, you wont be able to ignore their original sound or the common thread found in all their songs that unites us as a people. These guys wont just rock your body, they'll rock your soul.
Performing in the New York International Music Festival, at Madison Square Garden, these guys were awarded Best Nu Rock Band of the bunch. While in town, they performed at IGGY POP'S place "THE CONTINENTAL"for some added fun. They headlined at "THE ROXY " (Hollywood, Ca.)and opened for STEVEN PEARCY (formerly of "RATT") at PALADINO'S (Tarzana, Ca.) Back home, these dedicated musicians work full-time jobs by day and rock central Virginias music scene by night. Desire and determination is what drives this band to achieve their dream. Their music is what will make it happen.
Hey...you guys have any shows coming up? I'm having surgery mid-August and would like to finally be able to see you play a show instead of at rehearsals.
Just letting you know we have 2 new events up! Come check them out maybe you would be interested in playing one of them! This year we are taking our events to the next level by adding guitar duels and such.
Hey guys...finally heard back from the people who do the Rutgersfest here (after months of trying to find the right people to talk to). Sorry, but they don't apparantly book any unsigned bands except for the winner of the Battle of the Bands that they do each year (which I did not know about). I knew it was a long shot, but I tried!
Okay...so I've been listening to "The Way" at least twice a day and I've come to a decision: You guys DEFINATELY need to bring that song back. And what I say goes!!! J/K You know I love ya'll!
