FROSTBYTE BAND was formed at the beginning of winter 2005. Originally
the band was called BJRAC, which is an acronym to the members first name.
The group did a lot of cover songs on different venues, bars and local concert
shows. Even birthdays, weddings and corporate parties were on their agenda.
Money was not an object. It's for the love of music that drives them together,
forming a big ball of energy once they're on the stage. Unfortunately, Randy
(bassist) has to move down south for a job relocation. That cost BJRAC to be
disbanded. Eight years of good memories was a joyride. No doubt 'bout it.

I called my Brother...Arthur the undoubtly cloned voice of a famous rock singer, Allan the man with an extraordinary talent of creativity in guitar
music and Lito the other multi-instumentalist armagedon in musical score.
therefore: the birth of FROSTBYTE BAND. In months to come songwriting, arranging and recording was in the process.
This time it's different.......It's all about ORIGINAL MUSIC. All alternative/metal
rock songs. We put our mind, heart and souls and express our thoughts
about everyday life experiences in these 10 songs.

HOW WE MET:
Back in 1995 my brother Arthur called me at work and said "YO! I GOT A
GUITARIST, just listen". I heard guitar riffs on the other line that sounds like
Eddie Van halen. I told my brother "YEAH RIGHT! THATS A RADIO" I was so
reluctant, i requested few famous guitar riff to play and he did. I was elated
or more to speak EXCITED! Can you imagine what ALLAN can do to our
music? Along came LITO, as to what we call him TOLIT'S. I met him when
I was moonlighting for a wedding band. He's the Master of Keyboard, as they
call him "The Professor" by other sessionist coz of his unparalleled approach
in electronic sounds. He's currently the drummer/keyboardist of the band.
DEBUT ALBUM:
The band's debut album is titled Pag-asa. A fast tempo track that showcase their own brand of pinoy hard rock. The album contains one slow song entitled "Ballad for Her" which shows the softer side of the hard rock band. Over all, the band's debut album sounds fast, heavy but melodic, and downright cohesive which belies the fact that the band is relatively a new act.
Experienced-wise the band did front acts on Kitchie Nadal, Hotdog band, Mike hanopol to name a few of the big names in Pinoy Rock, aside from regular gigs and on promotinal tour.
