About me:

Hi everyone. I am a reformed over-consumer. To make up for my crimes against humanity and the planet as an ex-investment banker, I founded the Freegan Bike Workshop. Now we have anywhere from 10 to 30 or so mechanics coming out to each of our workshops. Come out and get a free bicycle, anyone.

The Freegan Bike Workshop is open every Wednesday 6pm to 9pm and Saturday 2pm to 7pm. We have tons of bicycles of all types, styles, and sizes, and we would love you help you fix one!

Trash tour Thursday, freegan feast Friday Thursday, December 13 - Trash Tour Join us as we collect the discarded quality products that stores throw out. We give advice on how to salvage these goods and comment on the reasons for such waste. The tour WILL be open to media that have scheduled in advance. When & Where? Meet at 9pm in at Court and Montague Streets in Brooklyn Heights. (Take almost any train to Court Street or to Jay St/Boro Hall) Friday, December 14 - Freegan Feast Share in the food preparation and in the good company of a group of diverse people who care about each other and about change.
