My name is Tina Clark and I am the author of "Memoirs of Sangria Renee" In my autobigraphy I speak of my experiences as an abused child. I was molested and raped several times before completing high school. I have survived two abusive relationships and currently work as an activist in my community against domestic violence. I have battled with anorexia and have lived in a car with my children at one point. I have lost two children and my only parent that I knew. I speak of many more challenges that I have overcome in my life through my discipline and faith. With October being NATIONAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH I would be honored if I can appear as a guest speaker against abuse against children and women being that they both coincide with one another. Domestic Violence has long been the silent threat in our communities, homes, and families. more people should be willing to take a stand and speak out.

I heard there is a protest this Saturday at 24th street and mcdowell at the Borders bookstore... the protest is against Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the way he is treating the Hispanic community.
