Ich arbeite seit 1991 als Obertonsänger. Den Obertongesang lernte ich seit 1990 von Siegfried Eberlein, Reinhard Schimmelpfeng, und vor allem von Sangit Waldner. Meinen ersten Auftritt hatte ich 1991 auf dem "Musicum"-Jazzfestival in Braunschweig. 1992-1999 war ich Mitglied der Bands "Pangaea" und "Project Pan" aus Hannover, und hatte mit diesen zahlreiche Auftritte, u.a. 1995 im Fernsehen in der Show "Geld oder Liebe", auf dem "Masala Weltbeat-Festival" Hannover, dem "Love-Field", und in Zytanien. 2004 gründeten der Sänger und Gitarrist Philip Heinemeyer, ein Obertonschüler von mir, der Bodhran-Spieler Niall McQuaid, und ich in Irland die Band "Aurora Borealis". Diese bestand aber nur für ein Konzert (am 24.1.2004 in der Camphill Community, Ballytoban), da mein Versuch, mich in Irland anzusiedeln, scheiterte. Zur Zeit arbeite ich Solo, wie z.B. 2005 und 2007 auf dem "Spirit of Voice"-Festival in Galway/Irland.

Hello Frank, Sorry i have not been in touch for a while but i have*nt had much time for myspace lately. Me and Lainey (my wife) recently lost our cat to cancer and we are still trying to come to terms with our loss .The thing with animals is that they are innocent and give unconditional love. Most human animals have a side to them and only want to know you for their own self gain etc. Anyway i hope you are keeping well?Keep in touch :~) Love and light eternal... Matty.
