Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's ground-breaking "rock opera" "Jesus Christ Superstar" changed the face of musical theater when it debuted on Broadway in 1971. Telling the story of the last seven days in the life of Jesus, "Superstar" dramatizes Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, the unrest caused by his preaching and popularity, his betrayal by Judas, the trial before Pontius Pilate, and his ultimate crucifixion.

Fort Worth Theatre presents The Trip to Bountiful, written by celebrated Texas playwright Horton Foote and directed by Scott Hardgrove.
This classic of the modern theatre tells the poignant story of an aging widow, living with her son and daughter-in-law in Houston, Texas, who is physically and emotionally compelled to return to her old home in Bountiful. Despite the difficult journey and heart-breaking revelations upon her return, Mrs. Watts is determined to find the strength, dignity, and peace of mind that only her real home can give her.
