Okay here's the bottom line -- I have a professional life, you can google that stuff I suppose, but I sure am passionate about using any free time, off work and all I have to make funk music under the alias cHUCk dA fONk, and I've amassed a great group of fellas and ladies over the years to join me, fONk, to come up with the funk outfit fONKSQUISh mob. Members of the mOb include members of the J.B.'s, Parliament / Funkadelic, Byard Lancaster, Uncut Musical Products, From Cosmos to Chaos, and so on and so forth. As fONKSQUISh we all continue to use the spirit of our R&B forefathers to make intellectual dance floor spiritual music. You know it ! Feel us out, and please listen.

Macking in a cafeteria at Fat Jew's college graduation - he wants me to go on summer tour playing bass with the Team but alas, Fife has to be a homebody and says no, to much chagrin. We fly to Aspen for a one nighter anyway just for hoots. This has been a very Cosmos dream segment...
420FM featuring Joey Eppard "in America" unreleased track Live at Bearsville
Here's a surprise for all you out there getting ready to celebrate the unofficial Holiday weekend. This was the first night of a series of shows the band did for Charity which included a Rock for Darfur charity event at New York Society for Ethical Cultural and Fleet Week Celebration at Webster Hall.
This is a track from the yet untitled 420 Funk Mob live album recorded last year at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock on April 14th featuring Joey Eppard sining lead on In America.
The Bearsville Theater was sold out, by the time 420FM took the stage there were cars lined up and down Rt 212 because the parking lots were full and the crowd jammed into the smoke filled theater spilled over into the bar. This was the first local 420 Funk Mob appearance in over three years and nobody wanted to miss this.
This version of the 420 Funk Mob was a combination of DRUGS and 420FM members, The song list was a mix of DRUGS, 420FM, and Old Funkadelic tunes. The band featured DRUGS members Garry Shider, Adam WIdoff, Joey Eppard, Frank Cash, Jeremey Bernstein and Stephanie McKay, 420FM's Ted Or, The Law, Alana Orr (VanHunt) and newbies Drummer Chris Gartman (3) and Keyboardist (Ross Rice) and the Herbal Nation Horns. George Clinton was intown for the upcoming Charity shows and made a special appearance.

Why does it not surprise me that you are listening to "Burnin'" with Laswell and Flava? Da Fonk is one groovy ghoulie! Lisa Chavous is the singer on "Funk Meditation for Peace"...
Seems like bass is what you do best, so I am deeply humbled that you dug my playing. Perhaps w'll connect one day & party up someone's venue for a night or two.
Continuation, ML www.MLCaldwell.com (check me out here, too. Joint called "blaq supamain", you're sure to dig the 3 bass movements in this song...)
Thank you for the books. Harry is loving them a little more than baby Charles "Gus" Augustus. Kept looking for the FS CD in that package, to no avail...guess I'll have to get to work on "Newlife 2" ! Let's talk soon, have an idea to bounce off you.
