I'm a stay at home mom and Artist in NH. I grew up in the woods next to the state forest. I divide my time between my family, painting, and working on my house. Lately I've been doing alot of folk art portrait's of people and pets. Most of my paintings are on canvas and done in acrylics or oils. I create everything from regular portrait's of people, pets. homes etc, Fantasy style Illustrations, Old colonial primitive style portrait's of people of today in old style clothes and surroundings.
I usually make paintings 16 by 20 inches for one person, 18 by 24 inches for 1 to 3, 24 by 30 inches for larger groups. I like working larger the people tend to look better when you can get more detail in but I do also make some tiny aceo atc size paintings as well on paper for fun.
Sometimes I also handpaint furniture and small wooden items and I also like to make my own custom light switch covers for my house. I've also done some murals in my own home as well. I pretty much love to paint everything. I also edit old photo's taking out red eye stains rips in the paper, sometimes even combining more than one photo etc.

not much life is slower in Maine ;) Things are good right now I'm working on my photography and jewlery for a show on Nov. 8th so been busy with that how's the Family?

I can't believe you are turning 30. Time really flies by. I guess you now see this with Cain already starting school soon. Hope you have a nice 30th birthday.
Was a fun day, So good to see you all again! Ethan had a great time too, even if he came home with a few injuries! I'll be posting my pics today, although I didn't get many.
