About me:

WELCOME TO COSTCO
i love you

MySpace Codes

I'm Garth's Wife. He's one of 2 very important boys in my life. He's an incredible and supportive husband and I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my long delusional days with anyone else!
I'm a MOTHER! Baby Julian was born on 06-07-08, one day before his daddy's birthday, and ON his aunt Holly's birthday. Birth weight was 7 lbs 12 oz, and 20 inches long and the cutest thing ever!

What I've learned..
I've learned from life to make the best out of everything even if you screw up.
I've learned that honesty is more important than fearing that you'll hurt someone's fellings because in the end, if you're not honest, you'll hurt their feelings anyway.
I've learned that being open is just as important as being traditional. It's a perfect harmony.
I've come to believe that even though I don't believe everything that I once did, God is NOT going to strike me down for having doubts. I don't think that God is like that. I think that as long as you are a good person with atleast some belief in something then you'll be fine whatever path that follows your death.

Things I love
I love to play guitar, but I haven't got the time latley.
I love music. I'm obsessed with it.
I love kisses and holding hands, I love hugs and 'I love you's' for no reason.
I love thunderstorms when they're at their height and the tornado alarm is going off and everyone is freaking out.
I love my parents and my siblings and my siblings-in-law and my 4 nieces and 2 nephews (and the one that hasn't been born yet)
I love Def Poetry.
I love planting seeds in spring and harvesting in the fall... It's so beautiful!
I want a house slightly outside of town, big enough to have a small orchard and a large vegetable garden.

Who I'd like to meet:

Elliott Smith (deceaced)
Tom yorke (alive)
forest gump (fictional)
stewy (cartoon)

So is it his first night away from you? It's funny though isn't it. You wish for a free night and as soon as you have it you can't stop thinking about them.

Oh, and the only reason she failed out was because her hands got tired and she starting hitting the rims instead of the faces on the drum set while she waited for someone to take the sticks from her.

The other night we were at a friends house. They had that Rock Star game. Galadriel insisted on a turn on the drums even though she didnt understand how to follow the 'notes'. She totally had the beat! Even though she didn't know what she was supposed to do, she drummed the beat correctly and so she hit enough notes right by accident that she stayed in the game for four songs. I know it's not the real deal or anything, but I sure thought her Uncle Garth would have been proud.

Hey! Its going pretty good here. I had gotten pretty sick, but I'm feeling much better now. Anxious to be done with the antibiotic as it seems to be upsetting Leifs stomach quite a bit. Imogen is starting to lighten up to the baby idea slowly but surely. I cant believe how big Julian is in all your pictures! They grow way too fast.

He should hold that bottle any time. I bet the only thing holding him back from it at this age is that he doesn't realize that he can do it if he tries. Then, sometimes it's a little bit heavy for them when they first have the hand and arm coordination to actually do it.

When I try to sleep is when I usually have been getting all the false labor! And I'm already a 3...now I just need it to continue to the end instead of just keeping me up all night long for nothing.

Not to worry! I'll let you know! I hope I don't go 2 more days! Then, this baby doesn't seem to want to be born. I have felt for nearly a month now like it's just going to fall out while I'm walking. Never had that with the others. Yesterday I finally let them check me. I was no farther dialated than I usually am at this point, but baby is already at 0 station. That's as low as it gets before the big push as far as I understand. They stripped my membranes. It's been 24 hours and nothing so far. Doc said it usually works, if at all, within 1-3 days. People I know who've done it said that they went the same day. I think it must be too cold or something and baby just wants to stay cozy and warm. I wouldn't mind the wait so long if it weren't for such strong false labor that until it stops altogether I'm sure it's really time...that and the feeling that it's going to fall out of course. I don't like that and it makes me walk even funnier than the normal pregnancy waddle.

Well, I've already had lots of false labor...I usually do. I'm pretty good at knowing the difference after the rounds I've had already. I didn't know that Garth was Norwegian...I did know that is where the name is from. Halsten is Swedish. I'm Swedish. I couldn't find any names I cared to use for a first from there, but I figured that a Norse name was pretty close anyway. Willow, I read that as a girls name in a book the kids have and I fell in love with it. They do grow to fast don't they! Not to bring about nightmares of the future or anything, but just wait until you have to put him into school! I can't believe that he's already 5 months! I can't wait to meet him...and Nevaeh for that matter! They're both gonna be huge before I get to hold them! What size does Julian wear anyway...maybe I can get him a present from me and Jeremy since we haven't sent you anything for him yet. Or is there a different sort of thing you might need. That's sort of what we were waiting for initially, to see what you still needed...and then time flew.
Bean

Oct 30 2008 3:27 PM

Hey! Leif Halsten will be the name if it's a boy and Willow Rayne if it's a girl. I think it will be any day. The baby is so low it feels like it's literally going to fall out while I'm walking and out of all these kids, that's a new sensation for me. I just don't want it to be Halloween. This is the first time Jeremy will have ever taken the kids trick or treating! What's shaking in your neck of the woods? That boy over all his colic yet? You know...someone told me that to treat colic you need to bring them to a chiropractor. Sorta scary with a little baby, but it makes complete since. The spine could be tweeked during delivery, not to mention the ball they live in before birth...

Jeremy took some belly pics just yesterday, but we've got to get them uploaded onto our computer and all so that we can put them up on myspace. We're all anxious though. I'm not too worried about 4. Adding number 3 wasn't nearly as big a difference as adding number 2 was.

My goodness no one warned you how hard what would be...parenting in general, or feeding the little guy cereal?

Oct 6 2008 5:58 PM

your lucky the colic is gone! i have no idea if rileys still colic or if its just her personality. she constantly cries unless we entertain her! i love being with her but you cant even have a minute of just sitting down. cereal is going ok. we did it twice a day at first but i moved it down to just once a day. we mix in some fruits or veggie baby foods with it. she seems to like peas the best. today she didnt seem too interested in eating her cereal though. some days shes into it and some days she isnt.
who knows?

Yeah, my epi wore off before I was ready to start pushing with Imogen and it was awful. I've been told from women that have done natural and epis that there is a big difference. I had a break while the epi was good, so when it was gone it was like a shock factor on my body, where if you are natural from the beginning, your talerence goes up as you progress...not that it doesn't hurt, but it's better than the other way.
