Fish Junkie is a family owned business located in San Diego, California. Fish Junkie has created a very strong Southern California following and now we are expanding out to the rest of the world.

The concept of Fish Junkie started from a friend’s homemade sticker that read “junky” with a hook for the “J” on the back of his truck, it immediately made me think of the word fish and so after writing on some scratch paper we came up with sort of a logo. I presented the idea to my wife and she had a friend suggest we use the word “junkie” instead of “junky” and the rest is history in the making. We redesigned the logo in late 2007 and have never looked back.

The next step was coming up with our first design and trying to come up with something a little different. A friend with a very wild imagination and myself started working on this project and eight hours later we had created what would become our “signature” Flaming Skull Dorado. This design is popular not only with the fishing community, but Men, Women, kids, tattoo enthusiast and even the pastor from our wedding ceremony.

We have been very fortunate to meet great people and establish several life long friendships along the way. Our friends have been extremely supportive and never fail to amaze us with their willingness to help in any way they can. From working the booths at trade shows, to modeling for our site they are the best!

Through trials and errors and a lot of persistence! Fish Junkie has begun to make its mark in the fishing apparel industry. We are committed to providing our customers with reliable customer service and the highest quality products.
