MySpace a place for friends

So you may be thinking: Where is it? Where's the album dudes? I was planning on getting it for my sister's birthday and now I'm gonna have to get her what, another Bright Eyes hoodie?

Well it's coming. Oh is it coming. It is spiraling down like a hawk from a great height, gaining speed and not even having to use its wings.

True there have been certain obstacles. We never anticipated that suddenly, it wouldn't be cool to drive a Cadillac (thanks Iran!). It was harder than we anticpated to kidnap Brian Wilson, tie him to a chair and then position it so he could reach the knobs and faders and nothing else. And never would we have imagined that it would take six months to figure out how to select the electronic wood block preset on our digital metronome.

But hark! These troubles are to our backs now. The album has a title: Crash Tender. It has pianos and trumpets and some guy banging on a bike frame. It even has songs: Bringing in the Flag, All the Medicine, Chemlawn, Labour, Ghostfood, Newsmall, Danc3, Nevereveal, CaTV, The Achievement, Self-Emulate, Firebyrd, Man of Action, Queen of the Eightball and others yet to be named.

You may be thinking, wow, I've never even heard some of these songs. That's because no one has! (except the cat and he doesn't do covers).

So thanks for your patience. Just a bit longer and we'll be back--back from the future...
