i'm philip and i've been making music under the pseudonym 'firebrand boy' since late 2004 when i discovered nanoloop and lsdj. since then i've played loads of gigs, formed a duo and released a single before disbanding the duo to learn to sing and play guitar at the same time.
;) I was singing Spring Republic today. Well... I wouldn't consider it singing it was more of making beep sounds and trying to replicate a noise channel sound. I'd say it was a total failure... :P

We are uber-super-excited to be playing alongside the mighty Sucioperro this Sunday, the 15th of June, at King Tuts in Glasgow.

If you're not up to anything on Friday, I'm starting my residency at Scotch Corner (next door to The Clutha Vaults) on Stockwell St. I'll be playing each Friday night from 9.30 onwards. A mix of my own stuff and some covers (but no fucking pop-hits!).
