About Fingsten: He's a backyard lumberjack, he's a nuts and bolts guy, he's everything you ever wanted to know about a rock star and were afraid to ask. OK, he's not
really a rock star.
He is, however, a singing poet who hides behind a guitar and corduroy. He 's
a big fan of multiple-syllable words. He is an epic contributor to worldwide
information overload, and now he's coming for you with hiku and pentameters
of miscellaneous bics.
He'll rock the mic with a broomstick, he'll laugh at all your jokes, he's a
man's man and a love of the ladies. His songs are about you. Or they're not.
Or they are about Nellie. Or they're not.
He's a PK from a town that worships a fiberglass cow. He's a curly-blonde
linebacker that will knock your teeth out. He'd like to dance with you and
buy you a flower. He's simply complicated.
He's Mike, he's dropped the P, he's Fingsten.

About Fingsten's Music: Working with producer Matthew Johnson, Fingsten expanded his aural palate by adding strings, exotic percussion, and even a celeste to his churning core guitar sound.
In his EP release, One for the Poets (Feb 23), his lyrics serve as another instrument, and remind listeners of a bygone era when beat poets grew love, pain and all the in between into moments of transformation for a generation seeking something new.
The ambitious 13-song full album NOP showcases the full range of Fingsten's song-writing talent: from pop to rock ballads, peppered with soul and R&B. This is a release that will certainly please a wide variety of music lovers, and that includes you!
Most recently Fingsten has released "Fingsten, Live at Uncommon Ground". This intimate look into the true nature of Fingstens music contains six of his latest and greatest songs. From upbeat start with "One Time" to emotional finish with "My Lullaby, My Decline" this disk packs a pleasing punch to every pallet.
