Sorry it has been so long without any real news to report or any shows on the calendar! It has been a crazy year full of marriages, job changes, band member changes, and drawn out recording sessions and mixing strategies, and we are very pleased to announce that we are now finishing up the mix of the first half of our new, yet-to-be-titled, double album that will see a release this coming late spring/early summer. We have written and recorded over 90 minutes of new material and have decided to split it up into two halves of one full record and will both come out in 2008.
We are planning on posting a new song or two by the end of this month, so make sure to check back for updates.
We thank you all for your patience and we know you will not be dissapointed.
Cheers
Casey, Cory, and Mike

Hey Y'all
Whats goin on? Things are pretty busy in the FJ camp these days. Casey and Cory have both become engaged in the past month to two awesome gals, so they are hard at work planning their weddings as we speak.
As you know, we are hard at work recording a new full length record and things are sounding amazing, completely far and above any of our past recordings. We have finished all of the basic drums, bass, guitars, and are about to start vocals this weekend. So far we have recorded over 75 minutes of music and there is talk to a double album. Only time will tell...
Fighting Jacks: A group of musicians that started in August of 2000; Casey Linstrum(Vocals/Guitar), Cory Linstrum(Bass/Vocals), Mike Wright(Guitars)
We are a rock band. We play rock music. We've had some lineup changes in the past... but we're happy with the one we have now. We've done a lot of touring, and some more touring. I gotta say it's good to be home working on new music. You are probably thinking, "This is a really wierd band bio." Well this is true. I have to be honest. I'm tired of reading other bands bios about how amazing they are. I'm not here to tell you how amazing, how powerfull, and rythmically throbbing we are but to look at our influences and poke your ear at a tune. Then you can decide for yourself if you like our music. I hope everyone who reads this now has a wonderfull day!
Cheers,
Casey Linstrum
