Fig for a Kiss is an exciting quartet with a fresh approach to Celtic music. Inspired by both a love of traditional music, and the rich musical influences of Toronto, they have created a sound that is distinctly their own. Their first full-length CD, Fallen Leaf (2006), showcases songs and up-beat fiddle tunes (whether original or ancient) played with playfulness and skill, and was nominated for The Canadian Folk Music Award for Best Instrumental Group.
