Augias Amena is my musical kingdom. I'm Fernando Mora and I began making electronic music in 2002, no sub-genres or epithets. I use the freeware modular tracker Jeskola Buzz, always have and probably always will. All my teenage years were spent obsessing over musicians like Richard James or Tom Jenkisnon, spending each weekend dancing to electro, drum and bass or psytrance in clubs in Vienna. Now this music coming from my fingers is, all in all, the same electronic music I'd like to be hearing or dancing to. Something strange and beautiful.
Augias Amena began making music in 2002, thinking of the drum n bass, electro and hip hop he grew up with as a teenager. Irregular rhythm, danceability, fat kicks, constant snares, fuzzy synths, simple shapes and mellow melodies. He collaborates with music and web design work for jacobinodiscos. cl. He lives well, studies literature, composes stuff like this and teaches english in Santiago, Chile.
