| About fervent through failure |
To be honest, we never knew what we were getting ourselves into... Our name is self-explanatory for the most part... but... "Through" can be defined in several ways. Through, can mean "in spite of" or it can mean "because of". This might seem confusing but hang in there with me. We are fervent because of our failures, and in spite of our failures. Its like saying "if at first you don’t succeed, try try again." or like "learning from your mistakes". Now that you know who we are, we are asking who you are. Are you defined by your errors, or do you grow from them? If you fall are you going to stay down or get up and try again? “Don’t give up! Keep trying. Never lose that part of you that makes you passionate, and always stay with the one who made you and loves you more than anything in the universe.” Romans 12:11
In 1998 Kira Evans and John Stevens met and decided to start playing music together. In 2003 they chose to share their lives and music. In 2006 they settled on the name “fervent through failure”. They have been playing casually for nine years, but are now ready to go full force with their music. With a definitive style in one hand and a powerful repertoire of songs in the other., they are ready for what the future may bring.
The group currently consists of married couple Kira Stevens(drums/backup vocals) ,John Stevens (lead singer/guitarist) and Ben Stevens (bass, backup vocals)
