Tantrum
first burst into the Nottingham scene way back in 1999, in the smokey
Underground beat-fest otherwise known as ’The Bomb’. Due to her unique eclectic
music style, Tantrum soon built up an awesome reputation thanks to her feisty
musical selection combined with her floorless technical prowess.
A
real party queen, her music has been pounding the dance floors of London and
Nottingham for over 8 years. She’s played all over the shops, including Fabric,
the Garvey (Ballroom), Stealth, as well as a whole host of other venues.
Tantrum’s talent has also won her the Secret Garden Party DJ competition. In
turn performing a headline slot at the 2005, 2006 and 2007 festivals.
Her
numerous residences and guest appearances have allowed her to play along side
world renowned acts such as Orbital, Freestylers, Fergie, Josh Wink, Freq Nasty,
Ben Simms, Audio Bullies, Rennie Pilgrem, Plump DJs, Jon Carter, Erol Alkan, DJ
Marky, Scratch Perverts, Dj Vadim, Mr Thing, Plus One, Prime Cuts, DJ First Rate--.
to name but a few.
2008
looks set to be a great year for DJ Tantrum.She’s already completed a hugely successful tour in China, including
monster sets at Cici in Shanghai and the hugely popular Babi in Beijing.She has also headlined events sponsored by Budweiser, Chivas, Johnnie
Walker and Smirnoff

Hmm, the production seems to have ground to a halt since I moved down here. Partly because can't bring myself to get back on Reason now I've experienced Abelton, and can't afford that!!
No festivals planned yet, which ones are you hitting? May be going to Breakspoll for the fist time this year though (now I'm closer and have less of an excuse for not)
