As a follow up to the 2 CD Set, Center Stage the DVD- captures live footage recorded over three nights in October of 2007 at the Sierra Nevada Brewery in Chico, California for the public television series "Sierra Center Stage."

Mixed in 5.1 Dolby Digital sound and filmed in eye-catching High Definition, Center Stage is a great mix of the new and the fan favorites from previous Favored Nations Acoustic releases like The Mystery and Endless Road."

Introduced are four never-before recorded songs of Emmanuel's - "Ruby's Eyes", "The Jolly Swagman", “Lenny Bro'" and "Papa George" (inspired by George Harrison).

Results of Guitar Player's annual Readers' Choice Awards for 2008 have been posted on their website.

Favored Nations artists Tommy Emmanuel and Pierre Bensusan were recognized as being the best in their fields.

Also worth noting, Larry Carlton tied with Pat Metheny for BEST JAZZ GUITARIST. In 2001, Larry recorded the Favored Nations release "No Substitutions" with fellow guitarist Steve Lukather.

The awards will be featured in the May 2008 issue of Guitar Player.
