Fattigfolket is a Swedish/ Norwegian quartet which started in Copenhagen in 1999. Since the year 2000 the band has been touring Norway, Sweeden, Denmark, France, Czech Republic and Germany.
Through communication and a balance of compositional and improvisational material, that pays homage to the contemporary jazz tradition, Fattigfolket perform original compositions written by the band members.
The band members are also involved in the following projects: Pierre Dørge & The New Jungle Orchestra, Peloton, Jogujo Circuit, TysTys, Sekten, amongst others.
