About me: Dario Western was born in Withington, Manchester on December 27, 1970. From an early age, he became interested in music and photography, receiving his first camera and guitar at age 11. He emigrated to Brisbane in Australia with his family in 1982 and studied piano, violin and trombone in high school. Upon completion of school in 1989, he did a sound engineering course at the Conservatorium of Music, and has worked with a number of Brisbane musicians from being an assistant sound engineer to personal manager for garage rock band The Busymen from 1999 - 2003. He was in Britpop covers band Blackened in the 1990's with his then girlfriend Julie Hepburn, and upon disbanding teamed up with prolific electronic underground artist D-Wizz for the duo D-Wizz 2.0.
He has had a varied working life having worked in music retail, DJ-ing, delivering and devouring pizzas (hence his nickname 'fatpizzaman'!), and at a glamour modelling agency as a talent booker and assistant photographer to Owen Watkin.
Dario is also a keen nudist/naturist activist and some of his photographic work has been featured in the magazine "Australian Sun & Health", as well as his letters being published in "The Australian Naturist".

i seem to get a tad crazy when its that late at night... i think i need a hobby i've been hitting the gigs again as usualy, saw flamingo crash on friday night. spectacular. but now im on my own little house arrest cause i fly to melbourne in under 3 weeks to see the wombats and the fratellis :D quite excited. keep me posted on your little outings, may crash it one of these days Stay safe and only get into a little bit of trouble
