I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
as urban conservationists, e.i.o. scours the streets for junk and discarded materials, and turns them into working instruments. they then take these instruments and play haunting melodies to lyrics depicting the dark underbelly of americana. their shows are almost entirely improvisational. for the finale, they will invite the audience to come be a part of e.i.o., and play the instruments with them. the orchestra grows with every show they play. in 2006, e.i.o. was featured on the bbc as part of the "electric proms" festival. e.i.o. also performed 2 shows live on london’s own avant radio station, resonance 104.4fm. the band plays live shows in clubs, galleries, and festivals but their new love is teaching. they travel to colleges to work with art students as artists in residence. the classes always end with a large interactive performance by e.i.o. and their students. if you or your school is interested in having e.i.o. come for a week long workshop, contact them here.

Thank you for the add. If you are ever in the Charlottesville, VA area, let us know! you guys are very creative, i hope you have many more successes as you have been.
Can you post some guides to the way you customise accoustic guitars? Like when I saw you play one of you had a guitar with a plastic plate fixed over the sound hole like a resonator?
Book me, and I shall come! I am currently doing some half-assed bits and pieces towards my imaginary "album" (2 songs almost finished!) and the plan is to attempt to "tour" your fine country next summer, come what may; most likely, at this rate, without said "album". What the hell, it'll be fun. "Fun".
