The 68th Session of the American Legion Evergreen Boys State will be here soon.
Currently we are looking for interested and qualified students who would like to participate. To apply simply log on to www.evergreenboysstate.org and click on the "Apply Now" tab.
American Legion Boys State is among the most respected and selective educational programs of government instruction for high school students. It is a participatory program where each participant becomes a part of the operation of his local, county and state government.
The hands-on experience provides for a week of enjoyment, learning and life long friendships. Students will be challenged to develop and use skills they may have never realized they possessed.
Students will have the opportunity for one-on-one interaction with some of the most powerful leaders in our state, including Attorney General Rob McKenna. Plus, thousands of dollars in scholarships are given out each year to students participating in the program. Every student attending now also has the opportunity to receive 4 college credits for participation in the program.
