Standing on the horizon of sound design is Pablo S. Whaley, CEO of ESCO International Sound Design. Since 2004, the former jazz trumpet prodigy and Hip-Hop artist/producer (P.Way of Bored Stiff) has focused on creating innovative soundscapes for visual and performing artists. Uniting his unique background in therapeutic ultrasound with nearly 20 years of recording and production experience, the sound of “ESCO” is a fearless integration of global rhythms, jazz melodies, and soulful syncopated beats. ESCO’s soundscapes have been featured in several prominent artist galleries in Oakland, Chicago, and San Francisco. ESCO is currently mixing and recording masterfully tailored dimensions of sound for a series of instrumental albums as well as a world music compilation album featuring some prominent vocalists and MCs for release this year.
