The bands sound consists of lush heavily processed trumpet, whispering vocals, synthesizers, and eclectic samples, blending with deep bass lines, noise textures, and morphing, IDM industrial trance rhythms.

Since its 1998 inception in Seattle, WA, the project has been a constantly evolving collaborative of innovative sound artists and has released 13 albums. entropic advance performs live at nightclubs, museums, galleries, warehouses, and outdoor festivals with video projections, dancers, performance artists, and guest musicians. entropic advance has played at numerous venues in Seattle, Portland, and Denver including, transistor electronic sound art festival, texture ambient showcase, Dronerama 1 & 2, Seattle Noise Festival, Black Sun Gatherings, and Glitch Giving.

bios+a+ic, a Colorado native, is a sound artist, producer, engineer, musician, dj, and performer, who soundtracks the modern world via construction and deconstruction of multi-layered digital and analog textures. He has been performing and playing trumpet for over 30 years, and has developed a signature sound with his style and production techniques. In addition to entropic advance, he has released 6 bios+a+ic albums, with debut releases by sonolumina and unbridled sonic Anarchy, on his label symbolic insight.

Solypsis is a rhythmic noise producer from Phoenix, AZ who started his music career in Chicago, IL and now resides in Denver, CO. He is a 16 year veteran of the underground electronic music scene and has been very prolific with over 1500 tracks released on three dozen labels. After his debut on the UKs V/Vm Test Records, he founded both Couch Fort Records and The Digital Vomit Collective. Solypsis has toured the US, UK and Japan.
