Ask anyone in the crowd and they’ll surely reply “Endive”. The instant the band takes the stage you’re hit with an explosion of energy that careens through the crowd with a fierceness and intensity that forces you to sing along.
While drawing influences from a wide range of music including Hard Rock and Punk, to Reggae, and bands like the Dropkick Murphys, Less Than Jake, and Zebrahead, Endive adds a level of energy which gives their music its distinct flavor.
If you could put catchy in a bottle, Endive is the brew master. Since their inception, nearly five years ago, Endive has been at work perfecting a recipe for success in today’s rock world. That recipe: one part catchy melodies, seven parts talent, some horns, and add beer to taste.
The band’s biggest inspiration is their fans. One of which said, “I love Endive’s music. It’s written really well. I’ve hung out with the band and listening to these songs is like being right there with them.” Their newest CD adds fuel to that fire with catchy melodies and songs inspired by long and rowdy nights with their devoted fans.
Amongst the mayhem of the competitive rock world, they’ve been fortunate enough to play with great bands like The Toasters, Stroke 9, The Juliana Theory and Gym Class Heroes.
The overall force the band exerts is palpable at their shows. “Endive’s show was like a freight train the whole time… they never stopped for a breath.”
The band currently continues to record music, play shows, and rock all over parts of upstate New York, the Northeast united states, and beyond and have no intentions of slowing down.
